What makes your bakes bougie?
The ingredients! All of our bakes are gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, non-GMO, keto-friendly and bougie. The word bougie is defined as upscale or high-class, which is exactly the kind of ingredients we source for our bakes. This is to ensure our bakes not only taste bougie, but leave you feeling bougie too. So, if our recipe calls for a dash of salt, we make sure it's pink Himalayan; if we need to use eggs, they're pasture-raised, etc. You dig?
What is Erythritol?
Erythritol (though it has a rather scientific-sounding name) is actually just another sweetener found in fruits like pears and grapes. It's a naturally occurring sugar alcohol, but unlike the others, Erythritol is fructose-free and has no glycemic impact. It doesn't cause bloating either! We prefer the taste of Erythritol over other sweeteners like monk fruit, stevia, etc., and we don't bake with sweeteners like honey or agave, because we like to keep it sugar-free too! Erythritol is a corn derived product.
Is Erythritol safe?
Definitely! There are absolutely no links between erythritol consumption and any health risks. Though it sounds rather scientific, Erythritol is actually just another sweetener found in fruits like pears and grapes. It's a naturally-occurring sugar alcohol that is fructose-free and has no glycemic impact. Erythritol is a corn derived product.

Is everything you bake vegan?
Not everything! We are sure to include vegan in the product names of the products that are vegan/egg-free. These include all 4 flavors of our mini muffins and our Lemon Poppy, Almond Citrus, Ginger Spice, Blueberry Maple Cookies. If the product listing does not specify it’s vegan, then it’s not. You can always check the list of ingredients as well.

Our mini muffins and cookies labeled vegan (Lemon Poppy, Almond Citrus, Ginger Spice, Blueberry Maple) are all vegan.
Do you offer any nut-free options?
Since all of our bakes have a base of almond flour, we don't recommend people with nut allergies consume them.
How are the bakes packaged?
We’re so glad you asked! All first orders ship in reusable cookie tins, that are yours to keep. They’re so cute, you’re going to love them.. Reorders will ship in minimal packaging to help reduce the amount of waste and our carbon footprint.
What if I already received my free tin(s) with my first order, but I’m ordering more bakes and will need more tins?
Don't worry, you can always choose to add an extra tin to any reorders.
How long will my bakes last in the tin?
Since they're preservative-free, we still recommend consuming them within two weeks of delivery. Fridge life helps extend the shelf life.
How should I store my Bougie Bakes?
If you're not eating them right away, Bougie Bakes should be refrigerated to help them stay fresh longer as we do not use any preservatives. Do not expose to warm temperatures for an extended period of time.
How do I know when they'll expire?
We think you'll eat them before they go stale, because they're just that good! For optimal taste and freshness, we recommend consuming within two weeks of delivery. Although not required, refrigeration can help extend the life of the bakes as we do not use any preservatives.
Do my Bougie Bakes need to be refrigerated? Can I freeze them?
All Bougie Bakes are made with shelf stable ingredients, but should be refrigerated to keep them fresh longer as we do not use any preservatives. We recommend consuming within two weeks of delivery but refrigeration can help extend the life of the bakes.
Plenty of our customers freeze their bakes to enjoy at a later time.
